Geostat Opens New Training Centre for Statistical and Economic Education

On 4 November, Georgia’s National Statistics Office opened a dedicated Training Centre to improve statistical literacy among public-sector professionals, businesses, researchers, students and media representatives. Its first course, scheduled for 16 November, will cover inflation and price statistics; no course fee or centre operating budget was disclosed. The initiative creates opportunities for professional training, research and data-literacy services; HPC can support training partnerships, education research and institutional programme planning.
