Uruguay Promotes AI Adoption for Businesses Through a New Regional Initiative

On 20 October, Uruguay’s National Development Agency, ANDE, presented Despega Uruguay in Maldonado with Antel, Amazon Web Services and Nub8, promoting artificial-intelligence adoption with no implementation cost for participating businesses under the initiative. No overall programme funding amount was disclosed. Startups and small businesses can explore AI-enabled operations and digital transformation, while HPC can support AI strategy, data infrastructure and feasibility planning.
