Copper Mine Labour Agreement Resolves Week-Long Strike

On 18 October, workers at Antofagasta Minerals’ Centinela copper mine approved a new collective agreement, ending a strike that began on 7 October. The agreement was approved by 94.49% of participating union members, creating a relevant development for employers, labour advisers and workforce-management specialists; the financial value of the agreement was not disclosed.
